This year's GSA Graduate Show is Cole Porter's classic backstage musical (1948)

KISS ME, KATE

It's Another Openin', Another Show for a travelling troupe of theatre folk staging a musical version of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. Two worlds collide as the tempestuous on-off relationship of the leading characters echo the action onstage. As the temperature rises and it gets 'Too Darn Hot', a couple of gangsters arrive behind the scenes to collect a rather large gambling debt.

I return to the first show I ever worked on professionally (Exeter, 1973!) and also team up for the fourth time with my brilliant friend, director-choreographer Kenn Oldfield.
